What is included

What managed endpoint security includes.

Software can detect and block threats, but organizations still need complete deployment, maintained visibility, informed investigation, response coordination, and evidence that the service is working.

Managed coverage

Deployment, policy alignment, agent-health review, and visibility across workstations and servers.

Investigation context

Endpoint telemetry is reviewed in context so alerts become clear decisions instead of another stream of noise.

Coordinated action

Response responsibilities, communication paths, and containment authority are defined before an urgent event.

Focused investigation

Endpoint evidence supports focused searches for suspicious behavior and context that routine dashboards can miss.

Useful reporting

Coverage, material findings, open risks, and next actions are summarized for operational and leadership decisions.

Ongoing improvement

Coverage gaps and repeated patterns feed a practical backlog instead of disappearing after a ticket closes.

How it works

From device count to operating clarity.

Every engagement starts by confirming the real environment and ends with documented coverage, responsibilities, and evidence.

  1. 01
    Review the environment

Confirm device counts, operating systems, current security tools, business constraints, and who is authorized to make response decisions.

  2. 02
    Define the boundary

Document what is covered, when Tallgrass reviews activity, how urgent events are communicated, and where customer or third-party responsibilities begin.

  3. 03
    Deploy deliberately

Install and validate protection in a controlled sequence, reconcile the device inventory, and confirm that response actions work as intended.

  4. 04
    Operate and improve

Maintain visibility, investigate meaningful activity, coordinate decisions, report clearly, and address coverage gaps over time.

Know what you are buying

Antivirus, EDR, and managed endpoint security are not interchangeable.

The technology matters, but the difference clients feel is whether someone maintains coverage, investigates evidence, coordinates decisions, and communicates clearly.

Common questions

A clearer buying decision.

Is this the same as antivirus?

It includes modern endpoint protection, but the service is broader than installing antivirus. Tallgrass adds deployment control, visibility, investigation, coordination, reporting, and an accountable operating process around the technology.

What is EDR?

Endpoint detection and response records useful behavior on laptops, workstations, and servers. It can identify suspicious activity, support investigation, and provide response actions such as isolating a device remotely.

Do you replace our IT provider?

No. Tallgrass can work alongside an internal team or existing IT provider. Endpoint security has a defined boundary, and infrastructure, help desk, identity, backup, and network responsibilities remain with their assigned owners unless separately scoped.

Do you provide 24/7 human monitoring?

Coverage hours and escalation arrangements are documented in the service agreement. Automated protection continues outside review hours, but Tallgrass does not imply round-the-clock human response unless it is explicitly included in the signed scope.

Can you protect remote laptops?

Yes, provided the device and operating system meet deployment requirements and can communicate with the security platform. Remote coverage and device inventory are confirmed during onboarding.

How do we get started?

Begin with an environment review. Tallgrass will confirm fit, quantities, responsibilities, timing, and the smallest useful next step before proposing service.

Start with the environment

Find the coverage gap before choosing a package.

Share your approximate endpoint count, current situation, and timing. Tallgrass will review service fit before proposing scope or asking you to buy software.
